We have a great opportunity to promote 4-H Shooting Sports,
have some fun and raise some funds. The Bass Pro Shops store in Denver is
having their grand opening November 10-13, 2005.
The State 4-H
Shooting Sports program was contacted because nationally Bass Pro is supporting
the 4-H Shooting Sports Program. The folks at Bass Pro Shops are in need of
sackers/baggers for their Conservation Night which is Nov 9 as well as the rest
of the grand opening. The are asking for 15 sackers/baggers for a shift of one
hour. I doubt that we can fill all shifts but we will see what we can
do.
We will be taking donations for Colorado 4-H Shooting Sports at each
cash register. What funds we receive will be divided between each club/county
and the state programs.
Times are from 5:00 pm to 9:00pm on wed. 8:15am
to 8:00pm on Thursday Thur Saturday and 9:15 Thur 6:00 pm on Sunday. We will
also be setting up the Shooting Sports trailer and could use volunteers for
that during the same time period.
It is a great opportunity to raise
some funds, have some fun, and see the largest outdoor sports store in the
state!
