Colorado 4-H Clover Guide and State Fair Exhibit Requirements

Welcome to Colorado 4-H

4-H began a century ago as an educational program for the nation's rural youth. Today, 4-H meets the needs of and engages young people in positive youth-development experiences. These experiences are based on the idea that young people should be regarded as resources to be developed. The 2002 centennial of 4-H marked a renewed commitment to helping shape youth and communities. In looking to this next century, 4-H further develops its programs and continues its motto of "Making the Best Better."

The Colorado 4-H Clover Guide describes the many programs, activities, and events 4-H has to offer. Also included are the Project Selection Guide and the Colorado State Fair Exhibit Requirements. The selection guide is an additional resource for 4-H members, leaders, and parents to help identify just the right projects for your 4-H experience. Included with each project are state fair requirements for that specific project. This allows you to know what is expected as you begin your project(s).

Additional information on events and activities is also available at your local Colorado State University Extension Office. Please confirm, with your local county Extension agent, the details of programs that may interest you.
